My new favorite park in Utah

Veteran's memorial park in Memory Grove. It's the only place I've been here in Utah where the light is good at 3 pm - (Tom, that's for you!). The monuments are all interesting, with stairways, benches and fountains, even a meditation chapel. The creek that runs through it is perfect for dangling toes in, and the grass is awesomely green and cushy. This is the kind of place to gather your friends, your guitars, and your ice cream and just chill. The place has an excellent vibe. Also, mosquitoes seemed relatively few. On this particular day, it was family home evening, and I was determined that we eat tea sandwiches and bon bons, which we did!
