The highlight of the Soho design shops was visiting the Ingo Maurer showroom. At first the woman behind the counter wouldn't talk to us, but by the end of our time there we were downstairs in the basement and she was showing us the prototypes for this lamp, which is on my to-buy list somday. The image of the lightbulb is a hologram. It is amazing.
